Setting Up Your Utilities
Water, sewer, and garbage is provided through the Town of Dundurn.
Electricity is provided through SaskPower and Natural Gas is provided by SaskEnergy.
Water, Sewer, & Garbage – Apply in person or by email: Complete the application and submit with your deposit ($220) to the Dundurn Town Office, or email your application to [email protected] For further assistance contact us at (306) 492-2202.
Note: Your utility deposit must be received before your account is activated. Utility deposits are $220. Deposits are refundable upon the closure of your account. We accept Debit, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Cash or Cheque.

Town Utility Information
The Town of Dundurn is a corporate partner of the Dundurn Rural Water Utility (DRWU) and the Dundurn & Area Waste Water Utility (DAWWU).
The DRWU purchases potable water from SaskWater and resells it to their subscribers by agreement. The Town is a large volume subscriber.
The DAWWU is owned by The Town and RM of Dundurn, Resort Villages of Shields and Thode. It operates the lagoon on behalf of the municipalities and charges the Town a fee for those services which is included in your monthly utility bill.

Rates as of January 1, 2020:
Water – $4.84 per cubic metre consumption (One (1) cubic metre equals 219.9 imperial gallons.)
Water Delivery– $43.50 per month
Sewer Residential – $31.00 per month
Sewer Multi-Residential – $31.00 per unit/month.
Sewer Commercial – Based on water usage. Minimum $31.00 for the first 8 cubic metres and then $3.87 for each cubic metre of water usage thereafter per month.
Curb Side Garbage/Recycling pick-up – $23.50 per month (1 compost bin included) with alternating black & blue cart pick-up each Monday, including statutory holidays except December 25 and January 1.
Compost Green Cart Curb Side pick-up – Weekly Tuesdays – May to October; November to April – Once a month. Please call office to order. Rental Properties must have approval from property owner to add compost bin and provide written approval to town office.
Water & Sewer Infrastructure Fee – $66.14 per month until August 2026 (If not prepaid as of December 11, 2011).
New build water & sewer infrastructure connection fee – $8,000.00 per curb stop connection (lot with no previous water or sewer connection to existing infrastructure in previously developed zoning districts)
